Windows Update Blocker is designed as a simple alternative to manually opening the Services manager, locating the service, and changing its startup parameter and status conversely, if you want to receive updates, you would need to enable those services again. That said, allowing Windows to auto-check and then auto-update is the most convenient way to receive all the important/critical updates to your OS. As we know, you can alter the update action in Active Hours, but if you simply want to take back the power and do it exactly when you want, then this might be the easiest solution for that.
This tool is useful since Windows offers no option for turning off Windows Updates within the control panel or settings app in Windows 10.
Windows Update Blocker allows you to have control over automatic Windows updates.
